The Schaefer Versa-Kool® Fan is available in two sizes: the VK12 (12″) and VK24 (24″). Both models feature durable powder-coated steel guards, with the VK12 offering white guards and the VK24 offering black guards. They come equipped with a 5′ cord and an off/on switch on the cord. The VK12 has a 1/10 hp (0.075 kW) motor, while the VK24 is equipped with a more powerful 1/2 hp (0.375 kW) motor. Both fans are thermally protected and can operate on 115/230 V with respective current ratings of 1.3/.65 A for the VK12 and 4.8/2.4 A for the VK24. The fans run at a rotation speed of 1725 rpm and operate at a frequency of 60 Hz. The VK12 offers an airflow of 1500 cfm with a velocity of 700 cfm at 5 feet, and the VK24 provides a stronger airflow of 7900 cfm, with a velocity of 1200 cfm at 5 feet. In terms of efficiency, the VK12 offers 14.2 cfm/W, while the VK24 delivers 16.1 cfm/W. Sound levels are 68.0 dBA at 25 ft for the VK12 and 75 dBA for the VK24. The VK12 weighs 18 lbs (8 kg), while the VK24 is heavier at 44 lbs (20 kg). Please note that the guard spacing for both models is not OSHA compliant and should be mounted above 7′ for safety.
